eTeam BRIT 8 Week Online Race Series

From 3^rd April 2020, Team BRIT will be hosting an 8-week e-racing series in partnership with eTeam BRIT.

The Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic has resulted in the cancellation of all Motorsport UK events and activities.  The start of Team BRIT’s season in the 2020 Britcar Championship is therefore on hold until social distancing regulations are removed.

To keep drivers racing, the 8 week Assetto Corsa Competizione eracing series will see them take to the track online, racing against each other and eTeam BRIT drivers.  Guest racers will also be invited to take part, with friends and motorsport fans cheering them on from home.

Races will be held every Friday from the 3^rd April, with practice starting at 3pm. 

Race Calendar: 

Round 1: April 3^rd -  Brands Hatch GP (Cloud lvl  0, Variability 0, Rain lvl 0)

Round 2: April 10^th - Spa (Cloud lvl  0.5, Variability 0.3, Rain lvl 0)

Round 3: April 17^th - Hungaroring (Cloud lvl  0.2, Variability 0, Rain lvl 0)

Round 4: April 24^th – Silverstone GP (Cloud lvl  0.5, Variability 0.2, Rain lvl 0.2)

Round 5: May 1^st – Suzuka (Cloud lvl  0, Variability 0.1, Rain lvl 0) (DLC)

Round 6: May 8th – Monza (Cloud lvl  0.5, Variability 0.3, Rain lvl 0)

Round 7: May 15^th – Nürburgring GP (Cloud lvl  0, Variability 0, Rain lvl 0)

Round 8: May 22^nd – Laguna Seca (Cloud lvl  0.4, Variability 0.3, Rain lvl 0.2) (DLC)

Each race will be 1 hour long with a mandatory pit stop and tyre change. Race timings are: 

• 3pm – 30 min practice session
• 3:30pm – 30 min open qualifying
• 4pm – 1 hour race begins

A league table will be created with drivers accruing points across the series.
