Guildford man joins the crew of all-disabled team

A man from Guildford in Surrey has become the latest team member to join the crew of Team BRIT.

41-year-old Kevin Harrison got 2020 of to a flying start when he joined the team as administration manager, based at its HQ and workshop in Dunsfold – the home of the infamous Top Gear track.

Kevin has worked in the automotive industry for a number of years, beginning his career as an apprentice parts person before becoming a parts manager for two major dealers. More recently he has worked in facilities management before approaching the team about career opportunities.

Kevin now works from the Dunsfold base with the technical crew, and is responsible for day to day team administration, dealing with everything from race and event bookings to driver support and facilities management.
Kevin explains, “The time was right for me to have a major career change, working closer to home and near my family.  I have been a supporter of Team BRIT for a long time, continually inspired by their efforts to achieve their goals.
“They have such determination to succeed and to live life to the max, and I hope that I can play a part in helping them make a difference in disability sport.

“I’ve always loved motorsport and would love to line up on the track next to them one day with my family cheering me on.  The future is very exciting and I look forward to achieving so much with the team.”
