IFA & Employee Benefits Adviser provider backs Bobby for 2021

One of London’s leading financial and benefits advisers has pledged its support of Team BRIT driver Bobby Trundley for the 2021 season.

Parallel Financial, which has been providing bespoke advice to private and corporate clients in the creative, media, art and tech world for over 30 years, is the latest organisation to join the growing band of businesses supporting the team.

Based in London, Parallel provides expert investment advice to creative individuals, as well as Employee Benefits advice to businesses on how to recruit, motivate and retain their people.

Having been introduced to the team by a fellow sponsor, Parallel will support Bobby’s racing this year.  Its branding will be seen across Bobby’s race helmet and upon the pride of the Team BRIT fleet; the Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4.

Bobby was diagnosed with severe autism at just 7 years old, and having discovered go karting when he was 10, found motorsport to have a profound impact on the way he managed the challenges of the condition.  A 5 times karting champion, Bobby joined Team BRIT in 2019 and won four out of his five races.  In 2020 he stepped up to GT racing and was awarded accolades including ‘Driver of the Day’ in the Britcar Championship.

This year, he will team up with paraplegic racer Aaron Morgan.  Together, the pair are set to pose some real competition in the Aston Martin, once again racing in the Endurance Category of the Britcar Championship which begins on the 25th April at Silverstone.

Parallel Financial Director, Malcolm Lyons said:
“We are thrilled to be able to sponsor Bobby, driving for Team BRIT. We provide support to our employee benefit clients on a daily basis to aid them in keeping their workforce mentally, physically and financially well, in turn enhancing their business results.

“Sponsoring Bobby and the team means we can once again be there to provide resources to allow people to be the best version of themselves, giving them a real chance to succeed and break barriers

"Inclusivity and equal opportunity is more important than ever, and it is a privilege to be involved in helping Team BRIT power their way to success in 2021.”

Bobby Trundley said: “I’m incredibly grateful to have the support of Malcolm and all at Parallel Financial. To know that they believe in me and everything Team BRIT is trying to do means so much. With their backing, we can really show people that disability is no barrier to achieving great things.

“The pandemic has meant we’ve been away from the track for some time and we’re all very excited to get back to racing in the next few weeks.  This will be our best year yet, and thanks to the amazing team of sponsors such as Parallel, I’m confident we’re going to smash expectations once again this year.”
