JCC Lighting, a market leader in the development of cutting edge LED lighting technology, has pledged its support of motorsport’s most inspirational team.
JCC has supplied and installed Team BRIT’s workshop and HQ in Dunsfold, Surrey, with the latest commercial and industrial LED lighting.
Team BRIT is an all-disabled racing team that aims to make history by becoming the first ever all-disabled team to compete in the Le Mans 24 hour race. Most of its drivers are injured military troops and it uses the world’s most advanced hand controls to allow them to compete on equal terms with able-bodied drivers.
The team’s Aston Martin, BMWs and racing school polos are based at its unit in Dunsfold, and to date, a number of companies have got behind the team, helping kit out the workshop with top of the range equipment.
In January, JCC Lighting made a huge difference to the team’s race engineer and mechanics, supplying and installing new LED lighting throughout the unit, allowing them to work for longer.
Hadji Smith, Product and Marketing Director at JCC Lighting said:
“We are proud to support Team BRIT’s inspirational campaign to make automotive history. Their passion for using technology and engineering to accomplish this goal is one that we hold dear to our heart. What the team has achieved is truly remarkable and we are thrilled to be able to offer our services on this exciting journey!”
Team BRIT founder and CEO Dave Player said, “We’re extremely grateful to everyone at JCC for their generous provision of lighting throughout our workshop.
“We depend on sponsors and supporters to keep us on the race track, and to help us with our aim of opening the doors to motorsport for disabled drivers; inspiring and motivating people as we progress.
“Their contribution has made such a difference to our crew – we can’t thank them enough and hope to see some of the JCC team at one of our races this year.”
