Motorsport communications specialists extend support of Team BRIT for 6th year

Motorsports communications specialist, MRTC, has confirmed its support of all-disabled Team BRIT for the 6th consecutive year.

The firm, based in Stanford-on-Soar, has more than 40 years of experience in working with customers in series such as Formula One, Sportscars, Touring Cars and World Rally Championship, and provides the team with the essential tech it needs for races.

MRTC has supported team founder, Dave Player, since he launched the team in 2015, and now provides the team’s full communications solution - a complex radio system allowing communication between the engineer, drivers and pit crew including headsets, radios (in-car and mobile), and repeater stations. The kit is manufactured by co-sponsor, Kenwood.

Managing Director of MRTC Jo Price said, “We are once again happy to renew our partnership with Team BRIT. As we look ahead to the faint light we call normality appearing on the horizon, we are still fortunate enough to be in the position to support such a worthy cause in an industry we love, supporting individuals who face challenges daily, yet doing so with a smile on their face. To be part of that is priceless.”

Team BRIT Founder and CEO Dave Player said, “Year after year, MRTC has partnered with us, believing in our goals of making motorsport truly accessible and supporting us with the kit we need to keep us connected at the track.

“They are the best in the industry and their equipment solutions are second to none.  Having this level of quality when it comes to racing communications is crucial and we are continually grateful for this generous support.”
