Team BRIT will be holding its second ever Rookie Day at Brands Hatch tomorrow, Wednesday 4th October.
The team will host a rookie day and coaching session at the iconic race circuit in Kent, giving yet more potential drivers the chance to try out with the team.
In August, the first ever rookie day was held, allowing civilian drivers to try out for the first time. It resulted in the team’s first ever non-military drivers being welcomed into the team. Olivia Jackson and James Russell were announced as the newest Team BRIT drivers in early September.
Tomorrow, three military veterans will be assessed for their driving skills and expertise under the watchful eye of Team Coach Graham Horgan. If they are successful, they will be welcomed into the team subject to the successful completion of their ARDS (Association of Racing Drivers Schools) test.
Current Team BRIT drivers will receive coaching throughout the day and Olivia and James will undertake the required ARDS test to allow them to be considered as team drivers for the final races of the Fun Cup season at Oulton Park and Silverstone later this month.
Team Founder Dave Player said, “Our last rookie day was a

“This is a great time for new drivers, team members and supporters to come on board with some major announcements in the pipeline, so I really look forward to seeing what our latest potential rookies can do at the track tomorrow.”
