Young army veteran tailor supplies injured troops with suits

Anthony Horner, a fellow veteran, served with The Rifles, which included tours of Afghanistan.

After leaving the Army, Anthony went on to set up his own business supplying tailor-made 3-piece suits via his web site, Empire Outlet.

When Anthony heard about Team BRIT – British Racing Injured Troops – he knew this was a project he wanted to support and offered each member of the team a bespoke 3-piece suit.

Dave Player, CEO and Founder of Team BRIT was overwhelmed, “To get a call from a young fellow veteran with such an amazingly generous offer was extremely moving. As a team, we need to look smart and clean cut, so having these amazing suits from Empire Outlet is a just what we needed.”

Anthony Horner, CEO of Empire Outlet said, “When I learned of this programme to help fellow veterans with all kinds of physical and mental injuries, I knew immediately it was something I had to get involved in.”

“I served with the British Army for 7 years – 2 tours of Afghanistan – and some of my friends suffered from similar injuries to the drivers on this team.”

“I am incredibly fortunate that I’m now in a position to contribute to those who sacrificed so much for their country. To be a part of this is truly an incredible honour and privilege.”
