We purchased our M240i from an online auction with the support of sponsor SYNETIQ. It had extensive structural damage, which was repaired through Surrey-based BMW-dealership, Vines before our crew began to turn it into a race car.
We stripped the car and installed our world-leading hand controls, along with a racing seat and harness supplied by Corbeau. A range of upgrades and additions were made including an upgraded radiator, improved traction, full exhaust system, and an engine and gearbox remap. The BMW’s 3 litre engine now produces 300bhp, enough to reach a top speed of 180mph.
The car has raced in the Britcar Trophy and Britcar Endurance Championship.
