Team GT4 drivers Bobby Trundley and Aaron Morgan have today been confirmed as entering the British Endurance Championship 2024, with their sights firmly set on a championship podium.

The pair will once again drive our Mclaren 570S GT4 #68, taking on grids of up to 30 cars, in the championship which will see two hour races taking place in an exciting calendar of six rounds, beginning in March at Donington Park.

The championship features six classes based on Britcar’s Balance of Performance Indicator (BEPI), creating a competitive environment for an eclectic variety of GT and Touring cars.

Bobby and Aaron enter the championship with high confidence and expectations, having competed in the British GT Championship in 2022 and early 2023, and the McLaren Trophy Series Europe this year.  Their efforts in the latter saw them claim podium class positions and a class victory at Nurburgring.

Bobby says: “It’s going to be epic returning to the Britcar family with an entry in BEC next year. We’ve loved the championship and all its about, but haven’t yet had the chance for a full season assault together in the McLaren. We’ll be taking everything we’ve learned over the last two years to the grid and doing everything we can for a championship podium. A huge thank you to my personal sponsors Parallel Financial and Daytona Motorsport for supporting me once again.”

Aaron continued: “Over the past two years we’ve really been developing as a driver pairing and working well together at every race.  Being back in the UK with the Britcar team, who launched the British Endurance Championship so brilliantly last year will be fantastic.  I can’t wait to see who we’ll be up against for some friendly, but serious competition in 2024. It’s thanks to my personal sponsors CDW that yet another season of doing what I love is possible and I can’t thank them enough.”

Confirmed races are as follows:

  • 29th March – Donington Park
  • 13th April – Snetterton
  • 15th June – Silverstone
  • 6th July – Oulton Park
  • 10th August – Donington Park
  • 14th September – Snetterton
