Welsh racing driver Caleb McDuff, the UK’s only male deaf racing driver, will make his competitive overseas racing debut when he joins Paul Fullick and Aaron Morgan representing Team BRIT in the Veterans Race of Remembrance (VRoR) at Virginia International Raceway in the United States.
In November, Caleb will head over to Virginia to compete in the 6-hour race which takes place on Saturday 8th and forms part of the U.S. Veterans Day weekend. The event honours the service and sacrifice of military veterans while promoting recovery and rehabilitation through motorsport.
After an exceptional race season, Caleb has been selected to drive a Ford Mustang. Diagnosed as deaf when he was two, Team BRIT has created technology that allows him to use his cochlear implants and communicate with the team pit crew, whilst wearing his racing helmet.
Caleb will line up alongside his Team BRIT teammates, joining forces with U.S.-based Resilience Racing drivers and injured American troops, Jon Winker and Adam Poppenhouse, for the landmark international collaboration between the two teams.

Aaron, who is paraplegic and Paul, who is a lower leg amputee, will drive an Aston Martin V8 Vantage supplied by Skip Barber Racing School. Team BRIT’s engineering team have already been over to the USA to fit their hand control technology into the car. The controls will be left with Resilience Racing after the event, leaving a legacy that will enable even more disabled drivers to benefit from the opportunities of motorsport.
Caleb has made rapid progress with the team since joining last year, being promoted quickly from driving a BMW 1 series, to a McLaren GT4 in 2025. His 2024 season culminated on a massive high, with the team taking an overall championship class win in the 1 series, and with Caleb racing the more powerful BMW M240i for the last race, topping the podium in class in his second race. This year has seen him secure multiple class podiums alongside his teammate Noah Cosby.
Caleb says: “Racing in the U.S. is the perfect way to end my 2025 season. From pre-season testing in Portugal, where I got to take my dad out as a passenger for a hot lap in the McLaren GT4, to multiple podiums throughout the year, and also the release of our book Breaking the Sound Barrier, this season has been incredible. I’m particularly excited to be driving the Ford Mustang, such an iconic American car, and driving it for the first time in America, it will bring a whole new challenge for me. I’m so grateful to my sponsors, Team BRIT and my dad for creating these opportunities for me.”
Now, with his invitation to race in America, Caleb caps an exceptional year that’s seen him continue to rise through the ranks of British motorsport while inspiring others with his journey as a deaf athlete competing at the highest levels.
