Team BRIT Driver Dom Shore from Chatham in Kent, has been nominated for a regional award.
Dom was one of the drivers in our BMW 1 series this year in the Britcar Trophy Championship. The team went on to secure 1st in class in the 1 series overall, and Dom has now been nominated for a Medway Sports Award.
The awards celebrate sport in Medway, reflecting the past, present and future athletes that are championing sporting excellence both locally and nationally.
Dom will be attending the awards ceremony on the 13th December alongside all the nominees, to find out if he has been successful.
Dom said: “This was a real surprise and quite an honour. It’s really special to be recognised in my local area for my achievements with Team BRIT and I’m really grateful for the nomination.
“These awards are a great way to inspire others into doing something outside their comfort zone, so I hope anyone reading about the awards will be encouraged to do something new.
“I look forward to meeting the other nominees and hearing their stories at the awards evening.”
