Global employment services provider Peak is gearing up to support Team BRIT during the 2021 season, with the added benefit of providing an extra driver!

The firm, which offers full employment services such as payroll, tax and employment law, will be sponsoring the team for part of the season with CEO Paul Voakes teaming up with Team BRIT driver Andy Tucker for two races.

Military veteran Paul was introduced to the team via team title sponsor BRIT Insurance.  With racing experience and a military background in line with the team’s roots, Paul was keen to get involved. Having undergone major surgery following an accident, Paul is also passionate about disability awareness and inclusion in motorsport.

Peak branding will be seen across the BMW M240i that Paul will drive alongside Andy. The pair will race together on the 4th July at Silverstone and on the 24th October at Donington Park.  Together, the drivers hope to continue the team’s positive performance in the Trophy Category of the Britcar Championship.

Paul said: “I first became aware of the the inspirational work that Team BRIT do with people with disabilities, PTSD and mental health issues when racing against them in Fun Cup. Team BRIT’s ambition is only matched by the commitment of the individuals they touch to get them there; it is a privilege to be a small part of their journey and be part of their team”.

Team BRIT Founder Dave Player said; “We’re really pleased to have Paul on board for two races this year.  He shares many of our passions and understands everything we hope to achieve, so I know he’ll be a perfect fit with Andy and will give everything possible to compete for trophies on track.

“We’re incredibly grateful for his support of the team through Peak.  Backing such as this enables us to continue our vital work around accessibility in motorsport.”
