Digital payments provider, Omnipay, has announced its support of all-disabled racing team, Team BRIT.
Servicing clients across the globe, Omnipay tailors payment solutions using bespoke technology including dynamic QR codes and mobile phone payments.
The multi-year partnership was agreed this week, ahead of the penultimate round of the British GT Championship taking place at Brands Hatch on Sunday 11th September. Team BRIT drivers Bobby Trundley, who is autistic and Aaron Morgan, who is a paraplegic will compete, driving the team’s McLaren 570S GT4. The pair have made history by being the first ever all-disabled team to compete in the championship.
Team BRIT was formed in 2015 and has grown to become the only competitive all-disabled racing team in the world, supporting people with physical and psychological challenges in accessing motorsport. The team’s drivers compete across three championships and use world-leading hand control technology which enables them to race against able-bodied drivers.
Omnipay branding will be seen across Bobby and Aaron’s car, helmets and race suits and Omnipay experts will be supporting the team with their own payment solutions.
