We’re looking for a full-time team administrator to join us on a self-employed basis. Working in a hybrid role with part of the week based at our HQ in Washington, West Sussex, you will play a vital role in the smooth running of our fantastic team.
Duties will include supporting out engineering director, team founder and commercial director, planning and running team events, and wide-ranging administrative tasks.

Location: flexible working – 3 days based at Team BRIT HQ in Washington, West Sussex, 2 days worked from home.
Salary: £25-30k depending on experience, self-employed.

Job description
The team administrator will deliver a wide range of support work, that encompasses more than a traditional administration role. The purpose of the post is to support the work of the team principal, the engineering director and commercial director, along with the overall running of the team.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Working to support the engineering director, including office administration such as ordering workshop and office supplies as appropriate and dealing with utilities and contractors
- Managing invoicing and payroll
- Event planning and management including arranging sponsor events at HQ and driver appearances at sponsor events / HQs
- Supporting the arrangements of and on-the-day delivery of team hospitality events, including managing bookings and ticketing, answering queries and hosting events on site
- Dealing with queries and request for information from the public
- Dealing with race entry administration
- Liaising with drivers over administrative tasks including maintaining up to date personal information, medical requirements and licence history

- Ability to multi-task, working across a range of projects
- Excellent communicator
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and file sharing systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with confidence in dealing with a range of stakeholders including sponsors, team members and suppliers
- Happy to work on evenings and at weekends as required by events and race calendars
- Interest and knowledge of the motorsport industry (desirable)
- Knowledge and experience of working with accounting systems such as Freeagent or Xero (desirable)
