One of the most important and rewarding parts of our work, is meeting and engaging with members of the community. To build on this, we’re offering ‘Behind the Scenes (BTS)’ visits to the home of Team BRIT.
At every race meet, we welcome young people, families, fans and community groups into our garage to learn more about who we are, what we do, and how we inspire other disabled people to believe in what’s possible.
To build on this, we also welcome charities, schools and community organisations for visits to our HQ and workshop in Washington, near Pulborough in West Sussex.
We create a bespoke itinerary for each visit, designed around the age and needs of the group.
A typical visit includes:
- A tour of the HQ, led by a Team BRIT driver
- Hands-on tuition on our racing simulators, each equipped with our hand control technology
- Fun games and quizzes
- Meet the drivers
- Crew experience such as a pit stop challenge
Each BTS visit is free, but any relevant expenses such as catering must be covered by the visiting organisation.
