It was full send at Sandown Park this week for the annual Team BRIT sponsors karting event.
On Wednesday 11th September, 15 teams headed to Dayton’s Surrey-based track for a day of fun racing with the Team BRIT drivers and crew.
Teams from a range of industries, each supporters of the team, went head to head in a 3-hour endurance race. Team BRIT drivers joined with sponsors, and the winner was the team that completed the most laps.
Drivers took on the track in every kind of weather, from plummeting temperatures, to bright sunshine and an almighty downpour with just 10 minutes to go.

The top three teams were treated to fantastic prizes from team sponsor Karcher UK. The Barrister Group improved on their second place finish from last year with this year’s impressive top step finish.
Team Principal Mike Scudamore said: “What a brilliant day with our friends and supporters at Daytona Sandown Park once again.
“These are always such fantastic events. It’s a great way for our sponsors and partners to spend a fun day with members of our team whilst also having an excellent day on the track. It’s also a way to help us raise further essential funds for our team.
“As always, the competition was fierce, with every team giving it their all. It was fantastic to see the Barrister Group finish top after performing so well last year.
“A huge thank you to everyone who came along, to our brilliant hosts at Daytona and to Karcher UK for the excellent prizes. I hope we can welcome even more teams to join us next year.”
