Team BRIT made a special visit to the Banbury HQ of a key sponsor this week.
Global cleaning equipment manufacturer, Kärcher, is a long-term sponsor of the team, which aims to be the first ever all-disabled team to race in the iconic 24-hour endurance race.
On Monday 14th June, team driver Bobby Trundley visited Karcher HQ in Banbury after a stellar performance in his latest race. Two of the team’s cars – the Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4 and BMW M240i arrived on site early in the morning ready for the special treatment of a Karcher pressure wash after the race weekend.
21-year-old Bobby, who was diagnosed with severe autism as a child, accompanied the cars and spoke with Kärcher staff about his incredible race at Oulton Park on Saturday, which saw him secure a P1 finish alongside teammate Aaron Morgan, for the second race in a row.
Kärcher is a German, family-owned company that operates worldwide and is known for its professional cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, window vacuum cleaners and floor cleaners.
The global brand partnered with Team BRIT for the first time in 2019 and supplies the team with access to a range of equipment to keep its workshop in top shape, along with credit for products and consumables to help achieve its goals in 2021.
The team supports people with physical and psychological challenges in accessing motorsport through its racing academy and has developed the world’s most advanced hand control technology.
