Team BRIT is joining forces with charity Ukraine Sunflower Aid to take crucial power, heat and lighting supplies to Ukraine in one of the most difficult times of the year.

Communities and businesses are now being asked to join the efforts by donating funds and supplies to this important campaign.

With the winter months bringing sub zero temperatures, the needs of the Ukrainians on the frontline of the conflict, who are living in some of the most dangerous and challenging conditions imaginable, have changed.

For months, Team BRIT driver Paul Fullick has been leading Ukraine Sunflower Aid’s incredible logistics efforts to transport crucial aid to Poland then to Ukraine. Read more here. Now, the rest of Team BRIT is joining with him to support a trip in January, aimed at taking supplies they need to keep warm and powered over winter.

Paul explains; “With an unreliable power grid, Ukrainians need new ways to generate heat and light and to keep their mobile phones and other devices connected. We now have the extra support of Team BRIT, which is working with its partners and sponsors to source the supplies at cost. What we need now, is help from the public to raise funds to purchase these crucial items. Team BRIT founder Dave Player has already kicked off the fundraising with a personal donation of £1,000 which is hugely appreciated.

“All the money raised will go towards buying items such as generators, batteries, battery chargers, power banks, floodlights and heaters, and transporting the items to Ukraine in January where people need them most. Please help us support the people living through the worst possible time. Every donation means so much.”
